Architecture Department Building – Technion School for Practical Engineers
A public building design with a total area of 920 sqm, located in the courtyard of the Technion’s School for Practical Engineers and seamlessly integrated with the existing structure.
Designed to serve the Architecture Department, the project adopts a design approach that treats the natural surroundings as an essential extension of the built environment.
The site's challenging topography—marked by slopes and elevation changes—was embraced as a design opportunity, expressed through accessible pathways, tiered landscaping, and terraces that bridge indoor and outdoor spaces.
The design aspires to create an open, inspiring, and comfortable learning environment that emphasizes connectivity, natural light, and thoughtful use of exterior areas.
