KitchBath | “Israel 100” Competition – Haifa 2048
During my studies, I was selected to participate in the national design competition "Israel 100 – Haifa 2048", initiated by the Israeli Government Institute for Technological and Scientific Training, in collaboration with the National School for Practical Engineers and the Technion.
The challenge was to design a single architectural element that could serve three different functions – kitchen, bathroom, and outdoor space – incorporating innovation, adaptability, and strong urban-environmental connections.
The project was a collaborative effort between three students from different disciplines:

Landscape Architecture – Amit Cohen
Media Design – Milena Begirov
The concept centered around a modular, compact, and sustainable living unit featuring a multi-functional architectural wall.
This element integrates work surfaces, storage, greenery, water access, and transitions between spaces, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors.
It uses recycled materials, natural textures, and vibrant graphic details to create a cohesive and practical experience.
Following the competition, we were asked in our academic studio to integrate the designed element into a full apartment plan – transforming a conceptual idea into a practical residential solution.
